Bio

I’m Patrick Lynch, a father of three boys, loving husband, and technology enthusiast, based in County Clare, Ireland.

This site is my tech playground for experimenting with cutting-edge technologies like AI, Serverless architectures, SEO, and HTML integration. It’s a space to keep my skills sharp and up-to-date. I hope it provides value to others, but I’m not focused on building an audience or committing to regular writing.

I have worked in IT roles spanning solutions architecture, information security, virtualized and cloud infrastructure, and software development over the last 20 years.

I am very capable with technology, but have little experience writing on a public blog; so please excuse the amateur-hour writing (as exhibited by the length of this page!). Hopefully, I’ll improve through practice.

Technology for This Site

This site is mostly an outlet for me to play with technology such as Content Management Systems, Cloud Technologies, CDNs, etc., like the ones that power this site.

Original Content

I plan to write about the various technologies I’ve experimented with, including AI, serverless architectures, and my journey in automating my home using IoT technologies. My goal is to implement these advancements in a way that enhances our daily lives without adding any stress for my family 👨‍👩‍👦‍👦 😀

This is a personal website. I work in the FinTech sector, from the southwest of Ireland. Any views expressed on this site are my personal views and don’t necessarily represent those of my employer.

Credit Where It’s Due

A substantial portion of the content on this site consists of links to other people’s content that has influenced how I think about technology.

The purpose of gathering this content together is primarily so I can periodically refresh and enhance my own knowledge and skills while I am in the process of building experience. I also plan to add my own thoughts to share with my peers where I think I might add value.

Comments are disabled on all pages that are link-out pages. Comments and engagement for such content should be directed to the original creators/publishers/platforms.

Privacy Policy

This is a personal site for a tech geek. I plan to try out anonymized tracking technologies to progress my learning about what’s possible. I also intend on plugging in interesting APIs, plugins, and services to ‘try them out’.
