New Site 🤓
Welcome to my new site. Please excuse the mess while I am getting this set up :)
In reality, this site is likely to be a perpetual mess. I am using this site to test out the hosting of Jekyll, hosted on Amazon S3 + Cloudfront. I previously used it to test Wordpress, hosted on cheap hosting - but fronted by Cloudfront.
Jekyll looks very promising. I am targetting very load latency / page load times relative to a dynamic site such as through Wordpress, etc. The static approach seems pretty cool!
This may never be a ‘stable’ site! - but i’ll sure have fun playing with it :)

The technologies above should allow this site to load about as fast as I know how to make a website load, while costing very little - a couple of euros per month.
I plan to add security configurations and features to this that will generate A ratings on security scanning website such as Qualys SSL Test and Mozilla’s Observatory testing tools - for fun and practice!
